The deer statue in the foreground had been on my high school campus for as long as I could remember, but it moved around a few times. My group of friends liked to make a big deal of trying to sneak up behind it. (Why not?) Abby and I were back on campus the summer between our freshman and sophomore years, probably showing some college friends around with some of the gang, when this was taken. I was also hitting the prime of my second awkward hair phase. Growing this one out was the reason I kept my hair so long for so long. Yikes.
